My smartphone doesn’t connect to my Smart S or X bike. What’s wrong?

First, make sure your smartphone meets the following minimum requirements:
iPhone: iOS 10.3 or higher
Android: 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher
Bluetooth version BLE 4.1 or higher.
Then check that your smartphone has an internet connection and Bluetooth is enabled.
To connect with your Smart bike, make sure you’ve registered your bike at my.vanmoof.com.
After logging in, your Smart bike should automatically connect to the app. If the app still does not connect, please contact us at email@example.com
To be able to help you as quickly as possible, please share the following information:
- What smartphone do you have?
- What firmware is your smartphone running?
- Your bike’s frame number
- Your VanMoof app version
