Follow these steps to pair a new Electrified S/X remote: 

- Make sure you are in Bluetooth range of your Electrified S/X and have an internet connection on your smartphone

- Open the VanMoof app and go to the settings page

- Activate pairing mode and follow the steps in the app                                                                                                                

- Hold the remote button for 4-5 seconds and release the button

- The display on the Electrified S/X will stop blinking with the bars to confirm that the pairing was completed

- Switch your phone's Bluetooth off to check if the remote works and press the button of your remote control to unlock the bike
