In France, bike incentives differ per region as they aren’t offered at a national level. We have listed the regions that offer a reimbursement where the criteria cover the purchase of a new VanMoof bike.
Please note that to apply for the grant you need an invoice. You’ll receive your invoice the moment your bike is shipped, and then you'll be able to apply for the relevant grant. Your invoice will show the date of shipment as the date of purchase, so please consider our delivery times when ordering your bike.
Also bear in mind that our invoices are in English, but we can provide a French translation if needed.
If you need a homologation certificate for your new bike, you can find that at the end of this article.
Paris Area
Residents of Paris can receive up to 33% of the purchase price of a new e-bike, capped at €400. Any naturalized person living in Paris is eligible, with a limit of one bike per person.
First you have to create an account with the City of Paris. An advisor will then contact you and help you further. You’ll be asked to upload your purchase invoice (which you’ll receive when your bike ships) and show your proof of residence in Paris.
