The VanMoof PowerBank is a portable battery that charges your bike's main battery and makes sure no ride is ever cut short. It can charge your bike’s main battery from 0 to 65% in just 120 minutes. It can charge your bike both while it's stationary and while you’re on the move.

PowerBank charging time:     0 to 100% in three hours

Additional range:                     45–100 km or 28–62  miles (full power – economy mode)

The PowerBank is not a substitute for your bike's battery, as its function is to charge your bike's main battery. This means it’s not possible to use the PowerBank as a direct power source when your main battery is empty. You can ride your bike with the PowerBank plugged in, but the motor will only kick in when the PowerBank has recharged the main battery to about 15%.

The PowerBank is a lithium-ion battery. Lithium-ion batteries should be recycled at certified battery electronics recyclers that accept batteries and shouldn’t be discarded in the trash or put in municipal recycling bins. If lithium-ion batteries are not properly managed at the end of their useful life, they can be harmful to human health and the environment.
