Front child seat 

Because the VanMoof handlebar design differs from most other bikes, the Thule Yepp Nexxt Mini and Thule Yepp Mini are the only front child seats that fit the VanMoof S5 & A5. You can buy the Thule Yepp Nexxt Mini on our Accessories website page and in VanMoof Stores. For both the S5 & A5, it's advised to assemble the Thule Yepp Nexxt Mini without using the C-clips.

Rear child seat

There are several rear child seats that fit on the VanMoof S5 & A5 in combination with the Heavy Duty Rear Rack. We recommend using the Thule Yepp Nexxt Maxi rack mount child bike seat. You can buy this on our Accessories website page and in VanMoof Stores. Other rear child seats that will fit in combination with the Heavy Duty Rear Rack for the S5 & A5 are the Bobike Go Maxi, Hamax Caress, and the Urban Iki rear bike seat. 

When combining the Heavy Duty Rack with the Thule Yepp Nexxt Maxi (or other rear carrier child seats) on the VanMoof A5, we recommend trying it on site before purchasing to make sure your feet don't hit the shields of the child seat while riding.

VanMoof recommends using only child seats that meet EN/ISO/DIN-14344 safety standards, which were checked for assembling compatibility and safety; you will find the standard number either on the packaging or child seat. You should check the riding fitting, stability of the child seat when assembling, bolts on the front child seat adapter and screws on S5 HD rear rack are well adjusted.
