How does the partial payment work for the S5 & A5?

To secure a 5 Series e-bike you will need to make an initial payment of €799. Once processed, we'll send you an email to confirm your order. At a later date, you'll receive an email notifying you that it's time to make your final payment. This email will contain a code, which you must enter at checkout after choosing your S5 or A5 e-bike. You can also add accessories and Peace of Mind at this point. Closer to the time of delivery you'll receive another email when your bike is on its way to you.

What are the terms and conditions when making a partial payment for the S5 & A5?

Your first payment is only a partial payment of your S5 or A5 e-bike. VanMoof will remain the owner of your ordered e-bike until you have paid the full amount.

When do I need to make the final payment?

We’ll send you an email with a code, when it’s closer to your delivery date, to make your final payment. Simply choose a Series 5 model (S5 or A5), enter the code at checkout, and pay €1699.

Is it possible to adjust my order when I make the final payment?

When you make your final payment you can also pick your 5 Series model (S5 or A5) accessories and add Peace of Mind to your order.

What happens if I don't make the final payment in time?

Your order will be cancelled if you fail to make your final payment 3 days before shipment. You'll be refunded the full amount between 14 and 28 days.

Can my final payment be deducted from my credit card automatically?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Your final payment is where you confirm your order and pick a 5 Series model (S5 or A5).

When do I become owner of the bike?
